This project consisted of extensive interior improvements and exterior refacing on this 26,914 SF, three-story building for ITT Technical Institute.  The interior space was completely dismantled and rebuilt to include new mechanical and electrical systems, all new floor and bathroom finishes, and the addition of an administration office and classrooms. Exterior renovations consisted of new windows and the removal of sloped exterior glazing and siding elements.  These were replaced with new vertical wall framing with stucco and brick finish.  The building has been restructured from a pyramid form to a box-shaped building.  The work transformed the building to create a more modern appearance.

To improve sustainability, as many gutted materials as possible from the original space were salvaged/recycled.

“From pro-forma to punch list, the Brinkman team took the job in stride, creative, collaborative and competent. On a job with so many potential land mines, change orders were kept to a minimum and I always felt they were working with the owners’ interests in mind.”

This three-phase project consisted of an interior and exterior renovation of one of Otterbox’s secondary office spaces. The overall design mirrors that of the Otterbox Corporate Headquarters building (also a project of Brinkman Construction). The interior of the space was completely gutted and refinished to Class A office space with a more high-tech look that includes coffee bars on each of the three floors. Sunshades and canopies have been added to the exterior of the building to improve its overall energy usage. The building’s exterior has been completely re-landscaped with new concrete, boulders, landscape furniture, a storage unit for employee bikes, an exterior patio with a trellis, benches, and tables.

To improve sustainability, as many gutted materials as possible from the original space were salvaged and donated locally.

“The Brinkman Construction team is excellent at being a part of the creative process rather than 'cookie cutters' who are apprehensive about thinking ‘outside the box’. They are always motivated to work with me and the client to make each detail the best it can be.”
