Jim serves as the President for Construction. With his 18 years of construction experience, he brings the highest level of knowledge to clients. He spent seven years working for a national design-build development and construction company in Phoenix where he managed development and construction projects from initial design concepts through construction completion. In this time, he developed a verifiable track record for successfully completing multi-million dollar projects through coordination of trades, developing partnerships, and building lasting relationships with project teams. His extensive industry involvement has made him well versed in contract negotiations, construction estimating, impending design problems, code regulations, and overall management from the conceptual design phase through project closeout.  Jim graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.  He is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of activities with the objective of providing the highest level of professional service. He also coordinated preconstruction planning and design phases and manages development and construction activities.

Paul is co-founder and partner of Brinkman Partners. His past experience as a Project Manager, Vice President of Healthcare, and Chief Operating Officer for one of Northern Colorado's largest design/build and development companies, has given him the experience to lead Brinkman Partners into a new generation of real estate services. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering. After completing his degree, he spent two years in Dallas working as a Structural Engineer and was enrolled in the College of Business at Southern Methodist University where he successfully attained his certificate of finance. Paul is responsible for the leadership and operational success of the company, including providing an environment that supports employee fulfillment and positive morale, delivering high quality and safe projects to clients, creating and managing existing collaborative relationships with clients and subcontractors, developing and maintaining effective operational processes and procedures to ultimately ensure the overall success of projects and of the company.

Mark is Brinkman Construction's Chief Operating Officer. He has over 23 years of industry experience. In that time, he has been directly involved in over $500 million worth of projects. His experience includes airports, K-12 school buildings, medical facilities, multi-family work, government contracts, municipal buildings, and breweries. He holds a bachelor's degree in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska. Mark is responsible for the oversight of construction operations and Brinkman property managers. He plays a high level role in ensuring that each project stays on schedule, within budget, and meets the overall requirements of each client.

Scott has an 18-year verifiable track record for successfully completing multi-million dollar projects. Scott is Brinkman’s Preconstruction Director. He has over 18 years of industry experience, 14 of which have been in preconstruction. In that time, Scott has specialized in healthcare projects including work on facilities in Colorado, Texas, Nevada, and Washington. He holds a master’s degree in Construction Management and a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Arizona State University. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional. He is experienced in utilizing team collaboration to create value engineered solutions for clients that provide value and efficiencies throughout the project’s entirety. He is responsible for coordinating all of the preconstruction planning and the management and oversight of all aspects of the Estimating Department. Scott’s responsibilities include overseeing budgeting, project negotiations, and production pricing. Scott’s role includes working with the department team to guide projects through the preconstruction/design phase, while maintaining each project’s desired program, scope, and quality, to ensure effective schedule and cost control.

Pete is Brinkman Partner’s Vice President of Business Development.  He has over 21 years of business management experience and 10 years in specific commercial real estate marketing and development experience across multiple property types including office, industrial, retail, hospitality and residential. His prior work includes serving as a principal and Senior Vice President of Development for Saxa Inc. in Scottsdale, Arizona. There, he was instrumental in their development of more than 5 million square feet of office condo, retail, and mixed-use projects across the country.  Pete earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Richmond.  He is responsible for managing continued company growth and profitability through project pursuit, ongoing customer relationship management, and providing solutions for commercial projects of varying sizes and scope in the Colorado market.

Tim is a LEED accredited professional with nine years of construction experience. His comprehensive background includes work with high-end finishes in a variety of product types. He has extensive experience completing institutional, multi-family, hospitality, and medical spaces as well as interior fit-outs.  His ability to facilitate communication and develop strong team relationships, paired with his field knowledge, lend to his ability to deliver the highest level of client satisfaction. Tim has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Infrastructure Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He is responsible for the overall success of a project with regard to safety, quality, schedule, and budget.  He manages the overall budget, subcontractor negotiations, and schedule adherence and plays an active role in both preconstruction and development services.

Doug brings 20 years of construction experience to Brinkman including a background in the positions of project engineer, project manager, and, most recently, senior project manager. He has worked on large projects such as the Pepsi Center and The Broadmoor hotel.
